All welcome

International Organ Day, Saturday, April 20. This year’s International Organ Day is on Saturday 20th April and to celebrate, St Peter’s will be open from 10.00am to 3.00pm and during that time our organist, Garry, will play a selection of hymns and voluntaries to display the rich, exciting and varied sounds of our pipe organ.  Garry will also talk a bit about how the organ works and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.  This is not a continuous concert or a performance, and you can drop in for as short or long a time as you wish.  Garry says that he is highlighting our marvellous organ, not his playing.

Cycling Jesus’ Journey … to Save Church Lives … by Lars

Lars Andrews is a member of our congregation and a professional in the fields of Cardiac Physiology and Echocardiographs. He has now raised enough money to buy a defibrillator at St Peter’s.

He has still not completed the route he has mapped out for the trip in the Holy Land following in the footsteps of Jesus and cycling that distance (on his exercise bike in his garage!).   He now aims to continue the journey and raise money for St David’s in Donvale in order that they can buy a defibrillator also. There are more details on the Go Fund Me site.

Update from Lars on his 3000 km fundraising trip
